The Magistral Delegation of New Zealand appoints four new council members in 2024. Janet Ponifasio DCHS as Chancellor; Stephen Fitness, as Treasurer; Rodolfo de la Vega, as Lay Master of Ceremonies; and Craig Franswah, as Mentor for Aspirants. We thank and pray for our retiring members for years of service and dedication to the Holy Order. Please pray for our new council members that God guides them in their duties.

Read MoreEOHSJ members meet twice a year at St Francis Retreat Centre in Auckland to spend time discussing and reflecting on a Conference paper delivered by our Chaplains as well as celebrating Mass and coming together for lunch. Fr Anthony Malone, OFM, KCHS led the Recollection Day using the Study Guide of Laudato Si, the encyclical of Pope Francis. He also spent time explaining Laudato Deum: the pope’s cry for a response to the climate crisis.
